PREQUALIFICATION

²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø requires that our subcontractors and suppliers are prequalified annually for eligibility to contract with our company. We appreciate your cooperation in providing this information so we can get to know your company.Ìý

Subcontractors and suppliers who have bid a project, plan to bid a project, or regularly complete contracts above $300K. If you primarily work in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia, this threshold is lowered to $100K.

The following scopes of work do not need to go through the prequalification process:

  • Engineering Firms
  • Architecture Firms, including Landscape Design
  • Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB)
  • Materials Testing
  • Planning
  • Surveying
  • Cleaning
  • Temporary Facilities, including Dumpsters
  • W9 – with full legal name, signed and dated within the past year.
  • Sample Insurance Certificate – with applicable endorsements.
  • OSHA 300 and 300A FormsÌý– for the past three years. If your company has ten (10) or less employees, provide the number of employees and the total hours worked each year. Regardless of your company size, any work-related incident that resulted in a fatality, in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees, an employee amputation, or an employee loss of an eye must be reported to OSHA.
  • EMR Verification – NCCI comparable form or letter from worker’s comp carrier showing EMR for the past 3 years. Your carrier will be able to provide a letter if you do not qualify for the EMR.
  • Letter from your Surety – dated within the past 6 months. The letter should state your single project bonding capacity, aggregate bonding capacity, and amount available. If you do not have an ongoing bond program, please upload a document just stating that you do not have a bond program.
  • Financial Statements – Third-party prepared financial statements from your last fiscal year end are preferred. They should include a balance sheet and income statement. If you do not have third-party reviewed statements, we will accept internal statements. Please make sure to provide accrual basis statements rather than cash basis. Confidentiality of your company’s private financial information is extremely important to ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø Construction.
